The reading group welcomes anyone interested in discussing and presenting papers around the central topics of JCT. The current members come from different disciplines and we take turns presenting and discussing each other’s work or papers that are of joint interest. In the past we have, for example, looked at how the notion of the Anthropocene prompts us to think about the temporal horizons of politics, how feasibility constraints should be understood when making judgements about the justness of climate politics, and how climate change changes the conditions for successful decolonization. The reading group meets every two weeks online.
